June, June, June..in a few days time the wedding month is off to bring beautiful bride and gorgeous groom to their most important day where new beginnings start. Just before that, as early as June. Men are busy preparing and thinking on how to pop out those 4 magical words.. “will you marry me?” plus the added pressure of thinking what perfect ring they could give to their future half. The wedding date is set this December, while her fiancé is busy doing all the preparations like dealing with the wedding planner, contacting with the sponsors and entourage, she’s still doing her work and at the same time enjoying the remaining days of being single.

Pero ok naman pili ni hubby.  We got the invites for 85php/pc, may mga delay din sa delivery lagging last minute before kami umalis especially nung magdeliver na kami ng invites sa manila, muntik pa macancel.

Wedding Gown: Lenny of Blushing Bride = 4 when we inquired last January sabi in 3 weeks daw pwede matapos gown ko kahit April 5 pa wedding namin para lang sana may option ako if I’ll change my gown or not. Maybe it’s their strategy, and ilan beses din ako nasched na ganito, pero di naman tuloy. But all in all, I love my gown although di ko masyado gusto bagsak ng gown ko still kamukha pa rin sya nung pinagaya ko to think my gown I think is the cheapest.

Bridal Shoes: By Bong Gonzales from Angeles City. Nalibot na namin lahat ng malls sa manila from trinoma to MOA, powerplant, greenbelt, name it pinuntahan namin ang ending dito lang pala sa amin. I love some of the shoes we saw pero problem is yung size ko is alanganin. 7 ½ ako, eh they don’t have half size sa mga branded na shoe store. For the amount of 2k, I got exactly what I like coz its customize and si hubby na nagdesign and comfortable talaga sya sa paa.

Entourage Gown: 4 Love them all! I thought di maganda kalalabasan ng combination ng Brown with touch of powder blue peero it complimented well with my ladies figure and nakakapayat pa nga, plus the flowy effect of chiffon material.

Male Entourage Coat and Tie: 2.5 dito lang sila pumalya. Maybe because late notice na rin and 2nd user pa, plus rent lang for some of our male entou. Hindi fit ang iba as in hindi kasya! 2 days before the wedding, nangungulit pa rin kami sa kanila and ended up pinaghanap nalang namin sila sa ibang supplier. Dito na ako almost magbreak down kasi dina maganda naririnig ko from my hubby’s side then. Well, not my fault din naman kasi first usapan talaga is yung sa male sila na bahala sa coat and tie nila kanya kanya sila as long as its plain black then biglang nagtext na wala pa daw sila coat and tie.  Ang hirap pa is galing pa sa ibang place mga male entourage so hirap talaga nun. Haay, yun nalang!

Florists: I have 2 suppliers for my flowers. First one is Pancho of Plumeria 3.5 (In house supplier kasi ng Grand Palazzo) ang mahal! Pinaupgrade kasi namin flowers for the venue but nothing unusual naman, pero in fairness ang dami nauwing flowers ng mga guests namin kasi kinabukasan holy week na so ayun inuwi para sa mga pabasa nila.  I gave him 3.5 kasi di namin siya masyadong nakachika which is very important to me, well maybe because last na rin namin sya nameet dahil lagi syang busy and drain na rin kami sa kakaisip so kung ano nalang feeling nya ok, go na, in 20-30 minutes babush na! He also made some changes with our table cloths which is good, tama nga naman na hindi pareho color ng gown ng entourage ko ang table cloth naming. Yun yung plus .5 nya. One more thing, kami pa talaga dapat tumawag para imeet na namin sya. Medyo may pagka bridezilla pa naman ako nun so I want everything booked na ASAP! 

Flowers for the couple and the entourage by Country Blossom- 4 I love my bouquet! Bawat may lumapit sakin na guest nagagandahan sa bouquet ko and sobrang bango daw. Hyacinth for my bouquet and hubby’s buttonaire.

Kasi I told him I want something like kay Charlene Gonzales (Lily of the Valley) pero seasonal daw yun and mahal, then sinuggest nya Hyacinth and bihira lang daw gamitin yun kasi my second choice sana Tulips pero mas bongga daw Hyacinth, which is true, medyo mahal lang din but worth it! For the entourage, I said sya na bahala basta ayoko ng masyadong roses. So he combined a little of carnation, hydrangea, etc. I love the flowers for our flower girls din, my comment lang kaya di perfect nabigay ko kasi wala headdress mga flowergirls ko. Not sure kung naiwan sa icebox and di nadistribute. Buti nalang cute ng mga girls ko so hindi na pansin. 

Cake = Breads O’ Cake 5 kahit ilan beses na kami nagpapalit palit ng cake design and topper, di p rin sila nakulitan sa amin. We love the topper and binigay na nila for free yun kasi friend ng sis ko owner. Apple Cinnamon flavour ng cake and masarap, not too sweet..

Giveaways = for Principal Sponsors 5, the bag was made by my cousin and the label was designed by my Brother in law. Very simple both designs. For wine label, halos kapareho lang sya ng original label ng Hardy’s wine and for the bag after ng ilang trial and research, my cousin ended up with a very elegant style.

Giveaways for Entourage: 5! Idea ko yun eh..mini liquors (Bacardi with chocolates) and for the bearers and flowergirls, bathrobe with flowergirl label at the back, bearer label for boys plus our initial infront with the date of our wedding.

Photobooth: by fotokiddo 2! Not everyone got the chance to have their picture souvenir and sobrang iba sya! Disappointing! Ang pangit pa pagkalagay ng backdraft! Sana kumuha nalang ako sa Manila, to think they have the same manila rate, dito lang ako nadisappoint ng sobra sa supplier ko in our town.

I was just online when a friend buzz me and commented on how lovely and beautiful our wedding was which she saw on our on site video made by Kquentor. That friend, Anna got married last year and it was a beautiful wedding as well and this June they will be celebrting their First Anniversary. She was asking me for some wedding anniversary gift ideas she can give to her dearest hubby. Some of my suggestions were swiss knife from victorinox which is a good brand for those tools, a belt, book or a vacation somewhere romantic.

Since this will be their first wedding anniversary she wanted it to be a very special and romantic even if not too expensive. SHe is considering trearing her hubby for a spa with a good massage or an out of town trip free from work and stress and just the two of them against the world.

AS you can see, even if they are already married for a year, they still see to it that they have time to celebrate those simple yt important occassion that marked their love life and the date they became man and wife. I do hope the love will last a long time because they are very beautiful couple witha good heart.

For those in love, it is important to give importance to your loved ones. Simple gifts or even leaving notes somewhere unexpected with a special sweet note is enough to make someones day completely happy. Inexpensive yet priceless!

Wow.. I am now officially married and I can’t believe I forgot some of the most important and most influential person who made our wedding blissful and a success during our thank you speech! I now know how a celebrity feels when giving their thank you speech when accepting their awards and forgot to mention the most important person in their life. It’s better late than never applies here again..so here goes my thank you speech.

There are myriad of people I want to thank now..in no particular order I want to give thanks to my extended family. My relatives who were there for me from the start.
My Sanchez Family especially Ena and Pax, my BFF in the clan with their lovely kiddos for letting them be part of my entourage. My Señeres family for driving all the way here in Pampanga for this event. You have no idea how you made my dad and the entire family happy and glad to see you here in our place. Thanks! Thanks!

Lez who introduced Fej to me..thank you my dear and to Anne that I have to consult then about dating Fej..look at us now.
